Re: Insignia™ 37" Class / 1080p / 60Hz / LCD HDTV

I have the same television, and it is giving me a lot of trouble with audio.

Watching television, the speakers work fine.

When I plug red/white composite cables into the "audio out" in the back and run them to my stereo, I get no sound out of the speakers.

When I connect my DVD player via component cables, the picture looks terrible, and I get  no sound out of the television speakers.

Re: Insignia™ 37" Class / 1080p / 60Hz / LCD HDTV

Hello BBBD,

Welcome to Community@Insignia™!

When you run your composite cables from the "audio out," are you losing sound to the TV speakers, the stereo speakers, or both?

I know this is troubleshooting 101, but have you ensured that the DVD is connected correctly and the cables are secure?  Have you tried another set of cables?  Since the TV will output the signal going into it, this may be a connection issue.

Please let us know these additional details and we'll do our best to address your concerns.

Regards,
John
