Re: Insignia 32" Roku TV will not work

I purchased the 42" insignia Roku tv from you guys two years ago. For over a year now, we've had issues with it disconnecting from wifi every 30 min-1 hour. We thought it was our internet connection and had that checked multiple times, even replaced our cable modem and router thinking this was the issue. The problem seemed to improve for a couple of weeks each time (only losing wifi connection 1-2 times per day) but now it is back to losing wifi every hour. We have attempted all fixes we can find on Google, from secret screens, disabling pings, system restarts and updates...the works. Nothing helps.
It really stinks because without internet the tv cannot even be used.
I have a 2007 polaroid lcd HDTV that still holds a connection and has better sound quality than my much newer insignia (which has to be turned to max volume to even hear voices in movies.) I loved this tv when we first got it but have been so disappointed in the quality over time. It is too much money to spend to have to replace every year.
Are there any tricks I haven't tried that I could attempt?
Thank you

Re: Insignia 32" Roku TV will not work

Hello, KristinaB,

Welcome to our community! Thank you for articulating the steps you’ve taken to remedy your wi-fi connection issues on your Insignia Roku 42” TV. We’d be happy to see what other suggestions we can make for you.

What’s the model number of your TV? It may be possible to hardline an ethernet connection. We’d be happy to double check. Also, have you stopped using the internet on other devices when streaming? It’s possible that your router isn’t prioritizing the connection to the TV, but to other devices. We look forward to your reply!
