Hello, Jakelabruzzo1,
Thanks for posting with us!
Tech can sure get complex, especially when it comes to troubleshooting what might be going on with your connections. You are always welcome to connect with Insignia in regards to your questions by calling (877) 467-4289, by emailing customerservice@insignia-products.com, or by visiting the Insignia website.
There could be a number of reasons that you might be encountering this issue, including (but not limited to) your current TV settings, faulty cables, faulty components, or a faulty input. If you are looking to do some quick troubleshooting, you can start by resetting your TV settings. If you can let me know which model of Insignia TV you have, I would be happy to help you find the steps to do so. You can also try turning the cables around (connect the Xbox side to the TV and TV side to Xbox)and ensure that they're in tight. You can try new cables or a different source connected to the component to try and figure out if it is an issue with your cables or the component.
I look forward to hearing from you!
Regards,
