Insignia TV from Best Buy defective.

I brought a TV back in August of 2017 from Best buy. It's been working perfectly up until today(6/16/19). The television has been working fine all day. I stepped out to get some Chinese this evening and when I came back home. My TV had vertical lines all up and down. Which is confusing because television has never been moved nor is there any damage to it. WHAT DO I DO?

Its outside of the manufacturers warranty, if you baught a service plan call to hVe it repaired if it's over 42", bring it in if its smaller.
If you didnt buy a service plan it will be cheaper to buy a new tv

Re: Insignia TV from Best Buy defective.

Hi, DamnDorian,

Welcome to Best Buy’s Forum. I think that I have had my 32’’ Insignia television, for what seems like, forever! It was originally purchased for my kid’s playroom area, and seven years later, it is still going strong. That is why I can understand how surprised you would be to come home from getting some delicious Chinese food, and discover that your television has vertical lines that go up and down.

Just as @nckhammond has mentioned, most televisions do have a one year warranty on them. If can’t remember if you purchased a Geek Squad Protection Plan (GSP) on it, send me a private message. In the message include your name, email address, and phone number. To send the message, log into the forums, and select Private Message.

Thank you,
