The variances in the picture lighting or sound dynamics can be a tad annoying. Thank you for reaching out to share what you’ve identified as outside of the realm you’d consider normal. We appreciate the time you’ve taken to post to us.
Display resolution and picture quality can vary depending on the what you’re streaming. It’s possible that it could be application related. Can you please verify if the quality improves upon streaming the same shows on a different device? This will allow us to pinpoint if the root of the issue with your TV or content. Also, can you please share what troubleshooting steps you’ve already taken?

I have streamed the same show using chromecast through my TV and the picture was bright and clear, where streaming the show via my insignia TV, the same show is dark. I noted that other shows through my insignia are bright while others are appearing dark. I have done no other trouble shooting at this point.

Thanks for sharing that you were able to compare the content on two different devices using the same TV. It’s possible that Hulu app downloaded on your TV may be playing at a different resolution than what you’re sharing from using Chromecast. Can you please verify that both content you were streaming was the same resolution? Can you please try to power cycle your TV? You’d be able to do this by unplugging your TV from power for a few minutes than plugging it back in. Also, we’d recommend resetting the TV back to factory defaults.
