I recently bought an Insignia NS-39DF510NA19 39-inch TV
After connecting to a Directv Genie got a "No Signal" mesage.
No change after checking all connections, setting and other HDMI cables.
I was told there is an issue with the TV and HDCP and I would have to switch to using a 10 pin to composite cable.
This worked to produce a signal and evrything works but the picture has a double vision/shadow issue (everything appears to have multiple trailers/shadows extending to the right
1. Wondering if this picture issue is due to the downgrade to composite connection or if it is something else.
2. I also have to question why a brand new TV would not be compatible with HDMI connection with Directv. Is there a differennt fix for this issue other than using the 10 pin/Composite cable?

Purchasing a new TV would be incredibly exciting, and I'm sure you were eager to get things setup. It's odd that you wouldn't be able to hook up your DIRECTV Genie via HDMI cable though. At this time, I wouldn't have any additional suggestions, so I would encourage you to give our advanced support team a call at (877) 467-4289.
