Welcome to Best Buy’s online community!
It can be annoying to have to get up from the couch just to turn on, or off your television. Not too long ago, we moved into our current home and forgot where we had packed the remote to our TV. Much of our channel surfing was having someone stand next to the TV set up, trying to find something to watch. We’d be happy to see what advice we can share with you.
Can you please share the model number of your TV? We’d be happy to see if there’s a factory reset pin hole on your unit. Also, most of the time there’s a way to get be factory reset within the settings. Have you also tried to power cycle your TV? You’d be able to do this by unplugging your TV from all components plus power. Then a few minutes later plug it back in.
We look forward to hearing from you to continue giving you advice!

All the buttons on the remote are Bluetooth powered expect the power button which is IR controlled. It is possible that the remote may have become unsynced to your TV. So we'd need to provide some troubleshooting steps to help them re-sync it. You can try to Factory Reset the Voice Remote by pressing and holding:
DPAD-left (←), back (⤺) and menu (≡) buttons for 10 seconds.
Let me know if that works,

In addition to what Karina has shared so far here are the complete steps from Amazon to Try Pairing Your Remote or Controller Again.
Good luck and have a great day!
To pair your remote or controller again:
Note: This step will not factory reset the Fire TV device. It removes Fire TV settings from the remote.
Note: Make sure that the batteries are inserted correctly. Both "positives" must point up toward the top of the remote, even if the battery insertion markings show something else. For more information, go to Amazon Fire TV Remote Basics.

I can definitely understand how that can be frustrating. At this point I would suggest contacting Insignia Support
at 1-877-467-4289 for real time troubleshooting and further assistance. I also recommend you download the Fire TV App to your smartphone which should help navigating on the tv. Have a good day!
