This Insignia Fire TV I bought in April 2019 has been working well until now. The Welcome screen stays on while the sound plays in the background. I tried resetting it by unplugging the tv and holding the power button down while I plugged it back in. That didn't help.

Thanks for joining our community. Having that menu up all the time must be a pain.
Can you try a factory reset on the television? You can do that by pressing Home, then select Settings. Select Device & Software, then select Reset to Factory Defaults.
If that works, please let us know. If not, please give Insignia support a call at (877) 467-4289. We'll see if we can provide any additional troubleshooting.

Thanks for the suggestion. Last night after trying the unplug and restart while holding the power didn't work we tried leaving the TV unplugged all night. We plugged it in and turned it on this morning and it worked! So problem solved for now.
