Insignia 39" FireTV Edition

We just purchased an Insignia 39" FireTV Edition. Setup went smoothly however, there is 1 issue I am strugging with.  We have cable tv via Comcast, receiving signal through a Digital Cable BOX (NOT HD enabled). I have successfully connected a coax cable from the box to the tv and I am able to watch the cable channels on the tv etc.

 

HOWEVER, the picture displayed for the cable channels does NOT cover the whole screen, rather the picture is a square picture in the middle of the screen. It is viewable etc. but how do I get the picture to extend to take advantage of the entire screen? I have tried various picture settings through both the TV and the cable box, but nothing has made any difference.

Welcome to our community, and thanks for reaching out to us about your new Insignia™ Fire TV.  If you haven’t already, I would first suggest changing the aspect ratio of your cable/converter box, as that will need to be updated first in order for your TV to receive and display the correct input size.

Thank you, I ended up finding the "display" section of the tv itself and turned off 4:3 etc. and seems much better now
