My TV was set up for connecting through WiFi, and this worked just fine till yesterday. When I turned the TV on, I got notified that updated software had been downloaded. However WiFi did not work. Rescanning does not show any networks, although the download must have occurred through WiFi, and my Android phone shows many networks in the area where the TV is located. It appears that the update has turned WiFi off. What do you suggest I do next?

Software updates can be super important! I’m sorry to hear that your Insignia 39-inch television may not be currently connecting to your home network as it used to. I understand how frustrating that could be.
Have you tried our suggested troubleshooting steps noted here? Particularly the power cycling and factory reset options. Also, what is the model number of your television and when did you purchase it? I look forward to your reply to see what suggestions or advice we can share with you.
