report missing points error

Hi,

 

I bought something recently from a Best Buy Express airport kiosk. When I try to report missing points on the Best Buy website using the customer service pin and receipt total, I get "An unexpected error occurred" message.

 

Can you help me add this purchase to my account? Thank you!

Welcome to our forums!  Those Best Buy Express kiosks sure are convenient, aren’t they?  I forgot to pack a phone charger on a trip years ago, and lucky for me, one of our kiosks was there in the airport, ready to save the day! 

 

I’m glad you’ve recently purchased from a Best Buy Express kiosk, and I’ll be happy to look into your purchase further, to see what we can do about the My Best Buy points you’ve been looking for.  For me to do so, I’ll ask that you send me a private message with the following information:

 

  • Your first and last name
  • Your phone number
  • Your email address
  • The “Customer Service PIN” from your kiosk receipt

 

As you can imagine, we’ll want to keep this sensitive information out of the public view of our forums, so be sure to use the blue “Private Message” button in my signature.
