Spent close to 10k over the last 2 year - Don't understand why I never get any certificates

Hello all,

 

I am a member of your certificate program, I always use my email when making purchases as the representatives tell me I get points and eventually coupons.

 

I just don't understand how I can spend close to 10k over the last two years and only have 113 points? Not even $5 giftcard - I really like best buy and I always make my purchases through you - but when I think of some other stores and their points systems, I think how much i could have saved over the years.

 

Can anyone help me understand why I get no points? I login to my account, all my purchases for the last two years are there, and I get nothing!?

I’m happy to hear you’re a member of the My Best Buy™ program!  It’s a great way to earn rewards for your purchases with us, whether you’re spending $10 or $10,000.  It’s important to be aware of how this program works and how your rewards will be applied to your account so you don’t miss any of them, so I’ll be happy to offer some additional insight.

 

For starters, you’ll want to make sure your purchases are linked to your My Best Buy™ account, whether shopping online or in a Best Buy store.  Assuming your purchases have been linked to your My Best Buy™ account, please know that any points earned from these purchases will appear as “pending” in your account for approximately 15 days, before the points are added to your account.  Depending on your certificate redemption settings, these points could cause a reward certificate to be issued, which will expire 60 days from the date it is issued, unless otherwise noted.

I’d like to review your account further to make sure you’re utilizing all the options available to you, so you don’t miss out on any reward certificates in the future.  To do so, I’ll ask that you send me a private message with the following information:
