Rewards certificate issued but was not communicated

I was trying to followup with Citi retail credit about my $30 rewards against purchases I made during promo period, but never got a clear answer for months.

Apparently they messaged me few months ago, that I never got any email alert, but was in the citi retail account messaging center, that I rarely go to. It said I need to contact BestBuy rewards customer service.

Today I checked with Best Buy rewards customer service and they say that the $30 was issued as a certificate and it has already expired. They are unable to reinstate it,

Can you help get my $30 rewards reinstated.

Re: Rewards certificate issued but was not communicated

Hi, JJ,

Thanks for connecting with Best Buy! Welcome to our online community, here on the Best Buy Forums.

It's understandable that you would want to ensure that you received any points that you might have earned. Bonus certificates are a great reason to use your My Best Buy Credit Card. In most cases, we are unable to reissue certificates once they have expired, but I would be happy to review your account to double check for any unexpected activity. If that is something you would be interested in, please send me a Private Message with your full name, email address, and phone number. You can find a link to send a Private Message in my signature.
