Rewards certificate auto-issued and expired

[ Edited ]

I have been a long standing customer with BestBuy, and have been very happy with the customer service and products offered.  Over the last few months I have been extremely busy with work and family. As a result, I have not been able to log in and check my account.

When I did so yesterday, i noticed my rewards points have been much lower that I was expecting, because a $30 Reward Certificate was auto-issued. I definitely remember having setup my account to NOT issue certificates automatically, so I am not sure how this happened. I definitely did NOT ask for it to be issued. I did not see an email to this effect as well.

Can you please look into this? A $30 certificate is a large amount to be ignored.

Appreciate any help in resolving this matter.

Hi, deepadukle,

Welcome to the Best Buy Forums! Thanks for uploading your first post.

As a new homeowner, I can understand wanting to save where you can. $30 can go a long way! I'm sorry to hear about the confusion with your certificate. I'd be happy to take a look at your account and see if I can help figure out what might have happened. To get in touch, please send me a Private Message with your full name, email address, and phone number. You can find a link to send a Private Message in my signature.
