I made a large purchase a couple of months ago, which got me to Elite Status. (There was some strange issue with getting the receipt verified for my rewards account, but that was ultimately resolved.)
As a result of the purchase, I was issued a $15 rewards certificate that wasn't supposed to expire until October 26, 2019.
I was saving it to use on a new release yesterday (October 1) but when I got to the store, the cashier informed me that there was NOT a rewards certificate in my account. This was very frustrating and I had to pay for the items in full.
When I got home, I checked my account and found out that the certificate had been inexplicably voided for some reason on September 24.
I'm really frustrated right now because - between getting the large purchase receipt recognized, and now trying to figure out what happened to the rewards certificate I was issued - I have to keep chasing after the so-called perks of this loyalty program.
I want the certificate reinstated and to have an explanation why it was voided in the first place.

Welcome to the forum, and thank you for connecting with us! I know how exciting it is to reach a new My Best Buy tier status, and receive a reward certificate. It sounds like you even took note of the expiration date so you could make sure you redeemed it before it expired. I can imagine how caught off guard you may have been to find this reward certificate wasn't available, and had actually been voided.
Generally speaking, certificates are voided should points be deducted and not enough points are available to complete the deduction. Points are most often deducted as a result of a return or exchange that resulted in a partial refund. I would be happy to dig into this to see exactly what happened in your case though. Please keep an eye on your inbox in the top right corner of the page for my private message.
