Reward Certificate is expiring

I have a visa best buy reward credit card and recently got a certificate auto issued with $30 value through the points accumulated from my credit card purchases. The expiration date is in next 7 days although i dont have anthing to buy at this moment.

What's the option to keep the reward certificate active? This is NOT a promotional certificate, rater certificate generated from my credit card cash back points.

Re: Reward Certificate is expiring

Hello, srijan4others,

Thanks for joining us at the Best Buy Community forums. That's a great question.

Generally, My Best Buy reward certificates will expire after 60 days, though that can vary depending on your membership level and the source of the points or certificates. A certificate must be used before it expires, and certificates can't be turned back into points. Please see full details in our FAQ. In short, however, that certificate must be used or it will expire.

That said, I'd be happy to double check on this for you. Please send a private message through the link in my signature. I'll need your name, email address, and phone number along with your My Best Buy member number, if you have it.
