While one of the more common reasons a member will have their rewards account cancelled is due to reselling, there are a variety of others that could also potentially result in the same ending. Another could be by exceeding the limit of three copies of a single gaming title per platform per member per year, as mentioned in the terms of the Gamers Club Unlocked (GCU) membership. That specific term may require multiple violations before action is taken. Please keep in mind though that Best Buy does reserve the right to cancel a rewards account if reason is found to do so.
