Points for pre orders

I've noticed that I have never gotten points for any game I have pre ordered. Not the bonus 500 points. The points you get in general for just buying stuff. I got to "report missing points", put in the order number and it says order not found. Is this a thing? Are points not given for pre orders?

It's understandable that you would like to ensure that you are receiving any points that you are entitled to. Generally speaking, points and any bonus My Best Buy certificates (such as the Get $10 in Rewards offer) would appear in your account within 15-20 days of your order being picked up or shipped. Just a reminder that any purchases paid for using promotional financing on the My Best Buy Credit Card are not eligible for points. Have all of the purchases that you are missing points on been for items that you have already received?

If you had actually read my question, I am not asking about the $10 reward points for pre-orders. I am questioning things I've purchased and not getting points. For example, I pre-ordered Link's Awakening for switch. It shows up in my purchases. However, when I check my rewards history, it's not there. I go to report missing points, put in the order number and I get nothing. I believe it 1 point per dollar spent? I should see 59 points for the purchase

Points for Link's Awakening should have already gone out. I would be happy to review your account and see if I can help find out what might be going on. To get in touch, please send the following information via Private Message:
