Missing Reward Points

[ Edited ]

To Whom It May Concern,

I recently did a price match for a TV. Recipt # {removed per forum guidelines} 11:38

I pricematched the TV from $1599.99 to $1499.99. Getting $100 back.

Everything should have been fine. However, for some reason pricematching $100 off lost me 8000 reward zone points. Which is almost $160 worth of Reward Certificates.

This is unacceptable. All you have to do is look at my account and you can see I spend on average $10,000 a year with Best Buy. The reward certificates are what keep me coming back.

I need to have these points back on my account ASAP. I am ok with some being deducted due to the price match. But a whole $160 worth.

Please rectify this immediately. I feel like I have been stolen from and nobody has been able to help when I called in.

Re: Missing Reward Points

Good afternoon, Brian,

Welcome back to the forum, and thank you for reaching out! It's wonderful to hear you chose to shop with us for a new TV and even utilized our Price Match Guarantee to make sure you got the best price for it. As it's always exciting to upgrade your home theater, I'm sure you've been enjoying the TV.

With that said, price matching should only deduct the appropriate amount of points for the difference you received back. I would be seeking answers too if I saw more points than appropriate deducted after a price match, so I would be happy to see what may have happened. Please keep an eye on your inbox in the top right corner of the page for my private message.
