As you can probably tell, we get quite a few merge requests here on the forum. I was about to ask that you read over our prior responses and send us a private message with your information but it looks like another agent has already merged your accounts. They were merged earlier this morning. Please allow up to 24 hours for any points or certificates in the secondary account to transfer over to the primary account.
If you have any other questions about your account or the My Best Buy™ program, then do not hesitate to send me a private message and I will see what I can do to further assist. A private message can be sent by first logging into the forum and then clicking on the blue button in my signature that just so happens to be labeled "Private Message."

After opening Best Buy Card a new account was automatically made. Made a purchase in store and point were sent to old rewards account under same email address. Called customer support, must of woke the guy up, and it was a nightmare. Unable to access account where points credited and support wont transfer points to new account. What can I do?

I am going to ask that you both please read over our recent responses in this now 6 page thread and send me a private message with the requested information by clicking on the blue button in my signature. Please keep in mind that we cannot merge multiple accounts if the name tied to each does not match. It is intended for a My Best Buy™ account to be used by a single member with that member not sharing their benefits, points, or certificates with anyone else. That does include family members or a husband and wife sharing one account.

The merge process is a great option when a member has more than one active My Best Buy account. It came in handy a few years ago when I had three separate accounts at one-time. I should have no problem merging your accounts as long as each account shares the same information. Any points or certificates in the secondary account would transfer over to the primary account following the merge. Please send me a private message with the information listed below, by clicking on the blue button in my signature, and I will see what I can do to help.

Welcome to the forum! Having multiple memberships often causes points to be split between them, making it difficult to have a great experience with our My Best Buy program.
Provided the memberships are under the same information, we shouldn't have any trouble merging them for you. Please follow the instructions outlined in our post below to merge your memberships.

I need some help merging my best buy accounts with reward zones. When i make a purchase i'm always asked which account because i have two of them. i would like to ease of having two accounts also i believe one account has a geek squad plan but i'm not sure. Thank you
