Ineligible for $10 Reward received via email?

I got an email from Best Buy around two days ago saying "Surprise! Your bonus $10 reward is waiting!" But once I click activate and it takes me to the Best Buy website message saying "We're Sorry. It looks like you're not eligible to use this Reward" Dont know why I'm not elligible to use it if it doesn't expire until 07/14/2019 as it states in the email.

You lucky duck!  It sounds like you received one of the monthly "Thank You" bonus certificates, which are handed out to a small random selection of members.  You should be eligible for the $10 bonus if you received an email offering it; however, it could be that the rewards account the bonus is tied to is not properly linked to your BestBuy.com account.  That could also potentially mean you have more than one rewards account.

 

If it turns out you do have multiple rewards accounts, then a merge will quickly fix that.  Any active points or certificates in the secondary rewards account would transfer over to the primary rewards account following the merge.  Please send me a private message with the information listed below, by clicking on the blue button found in my signature, and I will see what I can do to help.
