I have been frequently purchasing eletronic devices and appliances from Best Buy since I moved to the Bay Area because I like the service, friendly staffs and of course the savings.
I received reward certificate last year when I purchased appliances for move-in and I didn't realize that they had expiration date. I kept refrained from using them actually because I thought I could use any time I want. However when I was about to make a new purchase today, I was surprised that they were gone. And I never received any notification that remind me the expiration date. When I searched back the orignal e-mail of granting the certificates, I found them expire at 10/12/2019 in very small letter. What a miss! That's only a few days ago.
I wish I could get them back and use them for my upcoming purchases(There are long lists that I wish I could purchase via Best Buy as usual!). Would anyone able to look into it?

Welcome back to the forum, and thank you for being a My Best Buy member! I know how exciting it is to receive a My Best Buy certificate, and it sounds like you were saving them for a great purchase coming up. I would be confused and frustrated as well if I finally went to use them, only to discover that they had expired.
Under our My Best Buy Terms, certificates are typically valid for 60 days, unless otherwise noted. Once expired, we’re generally unable to reissue them. We do our best to make our customers aware a certificate has been issued, as we send out email notifications that include the expiration date. It seems like while you may have received these emails, the expiration date may have been overlooked. As certificates are ultimately coupons for discounts, they would have expiration dates like most other coupons. For more details, you may view the article below.
I see you have already sent us a private message with further details. Please be aware I will be following up with you there shortly.
