Birthday Coupon Disappeared

I like many other users had a birthday coupon to use. I know certain items can't be used, however, the item I would like to purchase is covered. I had it in my cart last week. I waited until my actual birthday (August 20) to see if I received any gift cards (which I did). When I returned to the site to purchase, I was on a computer I normally don't use and had to sign in. I signed in with google and that seemed to have made my coupon disappear, as now I can't find it.

 

I attempted to call and spoke to 2 different representatives that were unable to help me. I just need to get my birthday coupon re-issued (or fixed), so that I can use it.

 

I am an Elite level member and have shopped at best buy for years, any help would be greatly appreciated.

Welcome to the Best Buy forum, and HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!

 

Did you do anything fun for your birthday?  Nice call on waiting to see if you received any Best Buy gift cards.  I usually ask for Best Buy gift cards too whenever my birthday or Christmas rolls around.  I enjoy the task of searching for the right purchase even if sometimes I cannot make up my mind.

 

The birthday coupon is sent to a random selection of members that have a birthday tied to their rewards account.  There isn't any guarantee that a member will receive one, as again, the process is entirely random.  We generally send out the birthday coupons for the month in one large batch towards the end of the previous month, and are unable to provide the coupon upon request.  We send a majority of the coupons via email and a small portion in the actual mail.

 

Did you receive an email with the coupon?  If so, then we would just need to make sure the rewards account with the coupon is properly linked to your BestBuy.com account. The coupon would be displayed during checkout as long as an eligible item is in your shopping cart.  Please feel free to send me a private message with the information listed below, by clicking on the blue button in my signature, if you did receive an email but do not see the coupon during checkout and I will see what I can do to help.
