Best Buy MyRewards item not registered

When I recently purchased my television, I signed up for MyBestBuy rewards in order to get the 5 year protection plan. That protection plan was added to my purchases, but the television was not, which is preventing my account from being upgraded to the elite version. So I’m wondering how I go about ensuring that television gets added so I can get my points. Thanks in advance.

Thank you for connecting with us, and choosing to shop with us for your new TV! I hope you've been enjoying it, though I understand you've also been eager to see the purchase post to your My Best Buy membership so that your tier upgrades. There are a few reasons why this may not have occurred, from it simply needing some time (it can take up to 20 days), or that the purchase was made prior to your My Best Buy registration. Under our My Best Buy Terms, purchases made prior to registration would not qualify for points nor count towards a tier status.
