Best Buy Credit Card 10% off Coupon Received After Purchase

Good Afternoon,

I recently signed up for the My Best Buy Visa Card and used it to purchase a Macbook Pro 2019 in-store. I was supposed to receive my 10% off one in-store item coupon upon signing up and being approved for the credit card. However, I did not receive this coupon until 3 days after my in-store purchase due to your systems not processing my application/account correctly. Am I able to apply this coupon to my past in-store purchase since it was made during the promotion period, or will I need to return the item and repurchase it?

Sincerely,

Colt

Re: Best Buy Credit Card 10% off Coupon Received After Purchase

Hello, Colt,

Welcome to the forum, and thank you for applying for our Best Buy Credit Card! It's always exciting to be approved, and plan out your first few purchases. Having been an owner of a MacBook Pro previously, I'm sure you'll find it to be a fantastic machine.

When it comes to the rewards and offers from the Best Buy Credit Card, please know that on your first day of purchases you should receive 10% back in rewards, or you may choose a financing option.  The 10% off a single item coupon is typically received later to be used on a future purchases, and is not able to be applied to previous purchases. Furthermore, please be aware that many of these 10% off coupons exclude Apple items. While you are welcome to return to the store within our Return & Exchange Promise to see if we may reprocess this purchase for you to better suit your needs, please know you would likely lose the 10% back in rewards if financing wasn't chosen, and keep the coupon terms in mind.

For more information, you may wish to review our My Best Buy Terms and our Credit Card page.

Sincerely,
