I should receive a price match

I had an in home rep come to my house where I purchased over $2,300 of products and services from Best Buy including a total tech service package. I never received receipts for my transactions. I had to hunt my sales rep down for a copy of the receipt and then he sent me a receipt for 1 of the 2 transactions 3 weeks after the items were purchased.  I'm still waiting for the 2nd receipt. The transaction was dated 12/14/19 and merchandise was installed on 12/20/19. I'm requesting a price match for the ring door bell. Best Buy charged me $230 but Costco has it for $190.

 

I was also charged for a netgear eithernet port which I never ordered or received. I was able to get the netgear item refunded to me today after spending about 30 minutes on the phone.

 

I tried to get copies of my receipt on several occasions by calling in to Best Buy as well as my sales rep to no avail. Since Best Buy failed to provide me receipts in a timely manner I ask that you make an exception to the 1/14/20 price match policy.

They only price match them selves after the purchace and other retailers at the time of purchace.

Welcome to our Best Buy community forum!

 

As someone who is also a fan of getting a deal, I can understand why you would want to take advantage of our Price Match Guarantee. However, as nckhammond mentioned, once the purchase has been made, the lower price would need to be with Best Buy during your Return & Exchange Promise to qualify. 

 

That said, I'm hurt to hear that you've had such a difficult time getting a copy of your receipts. Our goal is for your time shopping with us to be stress-free, but I can understand how having to hunt down those receipts would take away from your time with us.
