My Insignia smart speaker NS-CSPGASP-G crashed. Best Buy replaced it.
Original unit would not play alarms. Unit would randomly voice "Sorry, there is a glitch". Rebooted unit following instructions. Previous unit stuck at set up.
On replacement unit, new in box. Going through set up no issue until the end. Front display stated Set >Load>net> load>set. . Google home fine until speaker update. Now speaker display is stuck at Set, same as previous unit. Original unit crashed Monday June 25th.
Unit is stuck in set up, same as previous unit. Issue began with previous unit. Possible update causes failure?
Google Home recognizes unit. Wi-fi is recognized and set up properly.
Previous posts state reboot pressing mic button 12 seconds. Same issues, different unit. Multiple reboots do not resolve issue.

Thanks! As it turns out, this was the issue resulting from Google's well publicized "glitch". It only affected my Insignia, one of several Google devices set up which is why I looked here first.
The issue was resolved after Google patched, and unit was rebooted/unplugged. Previous rebooting did not work as Google had not yet resolved the issue.
