I have an insignia ns-h4005 home theater system that includes DVD/VCR.
I cannot find remote codes for my UR5U-8780L-BHT, universal remote. The "CLIKR-5" is being used with a brighthouse provided, scientific atlantic cable box.
I browsed some older posts and tried codes that had been given to others and had no positive results.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Welcome to Community@Insignia™!
When selecting a universal remote control, be sure that Insignia is included as a compatible brand. Even so, remember that full functionality may not be provided by all controllers -- many will provide only basic controls such as power and volume. Oftentimes, for full functionality, the factory remote or a higher end universal is required.

I apologize for the delay in my response, but could you provide me with the model number listed on the back of your Cox Cable remote? With this model number I should be able to find the proper remote code for you.

There is not a specific code for ATT U-Verse remotes to control the NS-SBAR, however you can use the code search feature of the remote. Do do this please follow these steps:
If you do not find a code by following these steps it is possible that you need to press 4 instead of 2 on step 5. This is because ATT has separate classifications for Aux devices, 1 - VCR, 2 - Receiver/Tuner, 3 - Amplifier, 4 - Home Theater in a Box (HTIB), and as a result you might need to try both settings as the NS-SBAR could be classified under either Receiver/Tuner or HTIB.

I would suggest trying the code 589, if that does not work please try using the code search feature by following these steps:

Unfortunately we can't provide a specific recommendation for a universal remote control. Even though our codes may be included with a universal remote, there may still be compatibility issues that prevent the remote from controlling your receiver. If you provide the brand and model number for remotes you have tried, we can research based on that information. However, in my experience, I had the best success when I upgraded to a higher end universal remote to control all of my home theater devices.
