New Insignia speaker not even starting

Hi,

 

i just bought the speaker last weekend and I un boxed it just now. Big surprise, my speaker doesn't even starts.

Once I connect it to the power plug no led blink nothing.

 

Can someone advice me on this?

Hello Nikkon,

 

Welcome to our community.  If your speaker isn't turning on when connected to power, it's unlikely we'd be able to troubleshoot it over our forum.  However, there are two things I can suggest you try before heading back to your local Best Buy store to exchange this for an identical product.

 

First, try connecting your speaker to a different electrical outlet.  If you were previously using an extension cord or surge protector strip, try connecting your speaker directly to the wall.  Second, you can try to perform a factory reset by pressing and holding the microphone button on the back of the unit for 12 seconds while it's plugged in.  If neither of those steps work, I'd recommend swinging by the nearest store to swap this out for another speaker within your return period.
