NS-CSPGASP2 Bluetooth Troubles

My Insignia smart speaker (NS-CSPGASP2) worked fine for months, but now when I connect something to it via bluetooth there's no sound at all.  It works if I tell it to play music or if I cast something to it, but just dead silence with bluetooth.  I've tried connecting with multiple devices (iPad, Galaxy S9), they pair and connect but it's as if the speaker mutes itself (it's not, I checked each time).  NS-CSPGASP2 doesn't even make the successful connection noise but "bt" stops flashing and holds steady and my phone indicates a successful connection.

 

I have a different bluetooth problem if I try to use NS-CSPGASP2 in a speaker pair with a NS-CSPGASP-B.  This speaker pair used to work fine, but now I can't even get the bluetooth pair mode to start either by holding the - + buttons or via the Google Home app (the app gives me an error).  I tried bluetooth pairing with NS-CSPGASP-B or NS-CSPGASP2 first, then forming a speaker pair but this doesn't work.  For what it's worth, NS-CSPGASP-B still works fine by itself.

 

I've tried factory resetting both speakers multiple times to no avail.

Thanks for reaching out to us here on the forum.  I stream music to my Insignia Voice Speaker practically every day, so I'd definitely feel frustrated if that became an issue for me.

 

Since you've already tried factory resetting this device, I would encourage you to contact Insignia Support at (877) 467-4289 to help troubleshoot this issue in real time.
