Insignia smart speakers no longer executing Google Assistant routines

As of Aug 27 my Insignia Smart speakers won't run routines. This feature was working for months before Aug 27. I have tried all the usual troubleshooting - reboot, factory reset, reboot router, relink Google account etc. Does anyone else have this problem or know of a fix?

Continued conversation still not fixed after 5 weeks on Insignia smart speakers

Its been at least 5 weeks since continued conversation suddenly stopped working. Resets do NOT fix this problem. Does anyone at Best Buy or Insignia have a explanation or a working solution? Or ANY update at this point?

There is a number of unresolved issues with this product, my guess is that a fix is not coming, it has been 8 months since the last update and it seems that support for this product has ended.Hopefully it does not become a paperweight in the future. Lesson learned when buying Insignia products !

I'm having the same issue. Please take a look into this Best Buy/Insignia Support.

Same here.  I left feedback on Google Home.  We noticed last night.

Having the same issue, custom routines work on my Google home minis but no longer on my insignia speaker i can verify they worked prior to this week the speaker is on:

 

System firmware version: 306

Cast firmware version: 1.28.101871

Language: English (United States)

Country code: US

Thanks for replying but many people have already contacted both Insignia and Best Buy support about this issue. Best Buy has already confirmed they are working with Google on a fix. This is a widespread problem affecting most 3rd party devices. Please check with your department and maybe you can provide a more helpful answer.
