I just purchased the Disney Earth Disc. The Audio keeps kicking off and the only way to get it back it to temporarily pause the NS-2BRDVD player. I have to do this 10 - 12 times throughout the Movie.

After checking the firmware update you should check the connections between the DVD player and your TV. Try to change the cables for another set and also see if they are damage. You can also change the disc to make sure is not the movie itself.

If you have the extended warranty. Geek Squad has to look at it first to make sure its broken. In my case since the BDLive stuff didn't work and the sound kept muting in the Disney Earth Blu-Ray, and we've had problems with some other movies, he told me that they would have to send the player in, but the NS2-BRDVD was listed as Devo(sp?) so they allowed an exchange. I made it clear that I did not want another Insignia player due to all my issues with it, plus they discontinued the NS2-BRDVD model.
You have to exchange it for a comprable product (of course), since a PS3 is also a Blu-Ray player they justified it.
I am glad to be rid of the darned thing. I hated it.
PS3 has consistenly been rated one of the best Blu-Ray players. It takes about less than a minute for a Blu-Ray disc to load (as opposed to waiting for the Insignia to turn on, waiting to press the Open button (10 minutes right there) and then going and making then eating dinner while it loaded, just to watch a movie afterwards!).
Seriously Insignia, your product was HORRIBLE, so much so I will never buy another Insignia product and will let all my friends and family know how HORRIBLE it was. You should not have to pay $200 for a piece of crap. Now you see why the price is now $99 for the NS-BDLIVE01, and that's still too much.
