Trying to separate my account from my parents

My parents have a Best Buy card and they decided to put me under their account. I recently had my name removed so I could apply for my own card but when I applied, it pulled my Dad’s information. Im sure an issue is my Dad and I have the same name, but I planned on applying for the card and put Jr at the end, but I’m not given the option. What should I do??

I'm excited to hear that you are interested in applying for your own Best Buy Credit Card, though I can understand the confusion that could be caused from being previously authorized on your parent's account, especially if you and your father share the same name. I imagine you may need to reach out to Citibank, the issuer of our Best Buy Credit Cards, by calling them at (888) 574-1301. If you continue to have trouble with your application, please let me know!
