Rewards Program and Returns Policy Question



I'm planning to make an in-store purchase of a 65" flagship model Television later this week. (It's a model that was recently released and is not on sale, and I plan to have it installed by Geek Squad). The purchase of this product would move my rewards status to the Elite Plus level. I have 2 questions.


1. Is my elite plus status effective the date of purchase (using 11/30/18 as an example) resulting in the return period

being extended thru 2/11/19?


2. In the event of the item's price being lowered during the above noted return period, will I receive that lower price by returning to the store to request my credit card be credited for the difference?

Welcome and thank you for reaching out to us regarding what you can expect from our My Best Buy program as you make a significant TV purchase! 


These are fantastic questions to ask ahead of receive Elite Plus status. Firstly, you can expect your tier status to be updated 15-20 days after purchase. Secondly, returns, exchanges, and price matches are based on your tier status at the time of request. Should you receive Elite Plus status from this purchase, you should indeed have the ability to request a price match or return it through Feb. 11. If purchased in store, you would process any of these transactions in store.
