Elite Plus Member

So I reached Elite Plus in December 2018. And it says that the Elite Plus expires at the end of February of next year unless I meet the requirement purchases. I read the requirements and it says spend $1500 for Elite and $3500 for Elite Plus. So what this is telling me is in order for me to keep my Elite Plus...I would have to spend another $3500 in just 3 months?

Re: Elite Plus Member

HI there nkevin0639,

Welcome, and congratulations on your Elite Plus status! I'm sure you were incredibly excited to reach this tier status in December, and immediately reviewed the benefits you gained.

With that said, it sounds like there may be some confusion around when your tier status will expire. Because it would be a bit dismaying for customers who just reached such a tier status at the end of the year for their statuses to expire so soon, each customer receives a full calendar year of tier benefits. As you just reached your tier status in December 2018, you should be Elite Plus through all of 2019, and it should expire at the end of February 2020. This should allow you all of 2019 to reach the required spending to maintain this tier status.

I hope this helps clarify what you can expect from our My Best Buy program! If you have any questions, please feel welcome to let me know or review our My Best Buy Terms

Sincerely,
