need Refrigerator door direction switched and water line installed

Hello. My refrigerator was delivered yesterday. There were several issues that occurred.

Some background: We researched which unit might be best for us at the Concord Pike store in Delaware. The rep we were dealing with was named Mike. We needed to make some more measurements but when we got home our current refrigerator was basically warm. So we needed to order and receive delivery of another right away. Ordering online seemed to be the fastest way to get the new unit so that’s what I did.

When discussing options with Mike at the store he assured us that the installers would install the water line and switch the door swing direction if needed.

The delivery went well but the installers would not connect up the water line because the connector was in the basement. They also would not change the door direction because it was not on their work order. He said he would report this back to his superiors.

Not sure of the process here, but we need the doors switched ASAP and would like the water line installed as paid for or a credit issued and I will get someone else to do it.

We checked several different stores for a new refrigerator and chose Best Buy as we have had good experiences in the past. I hope we can get these items taken care of quickly.

I know having any major appliance malfunction can be inconvenient, so repair or replacement is always best when expedited. Best Buy aims to ensure these purchases and services go smoothly, and while it sounds like your experience in store with Mike and shopping online went well, there was some disconnect during your delivery with the fridge door and water line.
