Water damage after install

[ Edited ]

Hello,

I had my KitchenAid dishwasher installed on March 5th by Supreme Installation Services Inc. WO #{removed per forum guidelines} and I have realized on Sunday 5/19 that water was leaking from the water inlet. This has swelled my flooring, ruined my subfloor and I'm not sure if further damage has occurred. I have not looked under my dishwasher since the install as I was assured it was done correctly by professionals. A faulty ripped O-ring seems to be the issue which I have replaced however, I am left with a ruined kitchen floor. It has been 76 days since the install.

I have called Geek Squad and I contacted Sedgwick Claims Management Services. I left them a voice mail for a callback and am awaiting their response. My original WO is Order #{removed per forum guidelines}

I am emailing the management at BBY501 concerning this.

Re: Water damage after install

Good morning, tk6214,

I'm thankful you had the opportunity to share this with us on the Best Buy forums!  I'm sorry to hear this was your experience with our 3rd party contractor, but I'm glad to see that you're following the appropriate steps to get this escalated to the correct support teams.

Continue to work with the store and Sedgwick, and know we'll be here if you have any questions along the way!
