Ridiculous Home Delivery Service

Best Buy's Home Delivery Service is ridiculous!

 

I am a homeowner and developer. I have purchased a set of washer/dryer for Home Delivery. My husband and my father took the dayoff and also hired a helper to assit the installation. It was scheduled for 8/22/19 3pm - 5pm. They have waited all day until 6pm.

Around 3ish, I received a text message that the delivery will arrive at 4:03pm. My huband had been keeping track at the window all day. My father was outside in the driveway most of the time. What we have gotten was a note at the door at 4:02pm stated "Sorry we have missed you".

 

We have checked all our camera footage and would love to share it. The driver never called. My camera shown him walked down the street with a note and headed to my front door to tape it. He never rang the door bell at all. He didn't drive a truck to my property. We have not seen any trucks on the street through my camera between 3:30pm to 4:30pm. The driver wants to leave work early so he planned the note at my door at 4:02pm. I have tried to call the 800# at around 4:30pm when I saw the note. I was onhold for more than 30mins with no one to speak to.

 

Now, who is paying for the time that we have wasted on this guy? Its so irresponsible. No wonder there's so much bad reviews of Best Buy Home Delivery online. I have rescheduled online to next week delivery. If this doesn't come through again, I will start shopping at Home Depot for appliances in the near furture.

Thank you for taking the time to read my story. I have purchased the appliances from Home Depot today and they were able to offer me better discount.

I just cancelled my 2 delivery orders today of over $2000. I don't have any confidence in shopping with Best Buy Home Delivery any more.
