I just kicked the installation team out of my house. Similar issue. They were rude, and unsure of how to shut off the gas. In the end, I asked them to leave my house. The supervisor called my house and said they would reschedule delivery and "try" to honor my request for a different team. I didn't feel that was satisfactory and so I decided to cancel the entire order and not to do business with Best Buy in the future.
If you are considering having Best Buy do an installation, beware.
