Item not received

8/02 purchased Samsung 43" tv and Sony Amp.  With delay received TV 8/9 but not the Sony Amp  Also purchased Geek setup dates 8/6, 8/9, and 8/12.  Received no service for the dates.  8/9 tracking of Amp to be delivered that day.  Not delivered.  Received notice that both items TV and Amp had been delivered.  I Still have not received.  Spoke with Geek supervisor and he said that he would try to get a setup date.... heard nothing from him since my talk with him 8/9.

 

Received a call from a local contractor who had a work order for setting up only the Amp.  The not received Amp.  I guess he was supposed to set up only the Amp.  He asked me where was my Old Amp and I told him it was in a cabinet.  He asked me to not tough the Amp because he wanted to see there the wires went (his words)  It was obvious to me that this guy didn't know what he was doing and told him that I would not accept him and his job.  Would you want a tech who asked that question?  who also said he had no work order for the TV   I paid $129.99 to have the Geek squad to set up this system.  I have completed setting up TV's in the past, but this time I wanted a pure setup on without mistakes.  I'm 87 years old and I quite frankly did not want to do it myself.  

 

Now, I don't know where this all exists.  I Still have not received the $279 Amp.  Tracking still shows the item is out for delivery.... that date was 8/9 I HAVE NOT RECEIVED THE AMP (8/11)

Welcome to the forum, though I wish you had found us under better circumstances. Purchasing a new TV and amp would be a great addition or upgrade to any home theater, and having it all set up so you don't have to worry about it would be spectacular. I'm delighted you chose to entrust us with this purchase and service, though it seems like things haven't gone as smoothly I would have wanted for you, between the troubles with receiving the amp as well as setting up service.
