How to log a Formal Complaint ?

Where can I go to log a formal complaint against the customer care team? I spent a month being mislead and misinformed regarding the stays of my order/delivery. When I asked for a supervisor to get more details the response was “you can cancel your order or pick something else”. There was no sympathy or working with me. After the way my wife and I have been treated I’m considering canceling my credit card and moving to amazon for future orders.

This isn't the experience we would like any customer to be placed in, but there will be some times where we're unable to fulfill an order without a waiting period.  Normally speaking, backorder status are provided at the time of check out, but never a good thing to hear when you're anticipating having an item ASAP! 

You've reached the right place to file your formal complaint.  The Best Buy forums are moderated by employees who work out of the Corporate Headquarters in Richfield, MN.  You should be hearing back from one within the next 3 to 5 business days!  Thanks for taking the time to share and register with the community!

Sorry if I mislead the issue. We found out there was a backorder the day of the installation after we were told it wasn’t on backorder. The primary issue was that from that point in there was not clear communication or partnership. Several times we were told we’d get a call on an update, didn’t get one or an installation window would pass with no contact from anyone. This is what I raised up to the managers and they brushed me off and told me to cancel.
