Having issues of this nature come up is never our goal. We intend that all our services are done to the utmost satisfaction of the customer. That being said, I do apologize for any inconveniences thus far. Have you already opened up a claim for this incident or have you yet to reach that point?

I assumed that was what i was doing when i called the local BestBuy and they redirected me to the 800 number. But since NOBODY has replied, I'm guessing there is no claim. And everytime I try the 800 number, I'm told the wait is 1-2 hours or I can get a call back; but I never get the call back after selecting that option. So what do I need to do? I kind of expect more from a big company like BestBuy; this is surprising that you are literally the ONLY person who has shown an interest in my issue.

In order to get a claim going you must reach out to our insurance partner Sedgwick. They can be reached at 1-855-832-1338; HOOPS: M-F, 8am - 4pm CST). You can also email Sedgwick at BBY@SEDGWICKCMS.COM for further assistance. Once a claim is in place, they will work with you to get any repairs covered. I do apologize for the run around you've been facing but I hope that this information can get this resolved as soon as possible. Let me know any further questions you may have.

The option to send a private message should be located below this message and should say "Private Message" in blue. However, please note that if no claim has been filed yet then our options are limited as we are unable to file claims on behalf of customers due to privacy reasons.

Reached out to claims company, Sedgwick. They told me an adjuster would get in touch with me...that was 2 weeks ago. DO NOT BUY APPLIANCES FROM BESTBUY. Do the small stuff. Games. Phones. TVs. But don't spend a lot of money and expect them to help you out when their installers bungle the job. You're better off going to an appliance store.
