I have taken time off work to wait a appliance range delivery. The delivery folks called us this past Thursday 7/4 to confirm that they would delivery for today 7/9 for morning slot (it was changed to morning time since they said only had a 4-man crew in the morning, not afternoon).
This morning, the order was cancelled with no explanation. We have waited and waited and moved out work schedule to accommodate the delivery. Is this normal to get this type of non service?

In my experience, few things are more disappointing than waiting for a delivery, only to have that delivery never occur as expected.
