Compensation for being inconvenienced regarding scheduled home delivery of Dryer

I purchased a washer & dryer from the Midlothian, Virginia store on June 24, 2019. They were scheduled for two separate deliveries on Saturday, June 29. The dryer was to be delivered between 7:00 AM & 1:00 PM. It arrived at 2:00 PM.  The washer was to be delivered between 12:00 PM & 4:00 PM. It never arrived and no one called. We called the store and they apologized and said the washer could not be delivered until Tuesday, July 2 between Noon and 6:00 PM.

 

We sat around the entire day Saturday waiting for the washer to be delivered and now we have to give up another afternoon tomorrow in the hope it will arrive. As of 8:25 PM we still have not received the telephone confirmation for tomorrow's delivery. We feel we are due some consideration in the form of a gift card for the inconvenience.
