On May 19, 2019, I ordred a 82 inch Samsung TV along with the $200 GeekSquad installation. The order was supposed to be fufilled by May 23, but there was an error and the local BestBuy was unable to complete it. Naturally, I tried to cancel the order and get a refund but BestBuy kept giving me the run-around saying I had to wait because the order was "in transit." The order status was finally updated and it says the TV was delivered June 7 and that the installation service was completed June 5.
That's impossible as the TV would've needed to be onsite for the installation to be completed, so I don't have the TV. I've tried contacting BestBuy's 1-800 number but the agent just directs me to Downey BestBuy, and that local store just redirects me back to BestBuy's 1-800 number. I visited the local store and have a case ID that's been esclated and I've been promised a resolution wihtin 48 hours but I haven't received an update regarding that case.
I'm trying to exhaust all of my options for a refund before I call my credit card company to file a chargeback because I obviously never received the product.
