I'm getting a trade in for a Passat diesel hopefully soon, but I also got a remote start system for Christmas I need to use, but what I'm wondering is if the service can instead for the diesel engines, cause there's the wait to start thing.

To be honest, I've never heard of microwaving toast before, but suddenly I feel the urge to try. All kidding aside, I truly appreciate you stopping by the Best Buy forums to ask us about your remote start and how it will work with a diesel engine! I'm here to provide you with the peace of mind that will ensure you're fully satisfied with our services that are offered for your remote start!
All of our Geek Squad Autotech's are MECP certified to work on your vehicle, not only that, but they're some of the best in the installation industry. Why I boast about our installers is because we know they're the best and we want to make sure you know it by backing all of our workmanship up with a lifetime labor warranty that is good across the entire nation. The wait to start feature has been around since I've been installing in 2007, and really since they've been released. This option is now built into the brains where there are not any more required connections, and most of them are done through data lines, depending on the year of the vehicle. If you recently purchased this remote start then it should have the built in capability for wait to start, and now all you have to do is get your appointment so you can have it installed!
Let me know if you have any other questions and it would be my pleasure to help out! Now I'm off to give this toast trick a try!
