Car Aux & Speaker malfunction for 2010 Camry

Hi, My Aux Audio randomly switches back to radio (the aux cable works fine on other devices) and my left front speaker works when it wants to. Upgrade suggestions or do I need a new audio overhaul? Want good quality but nothing over the top.

Re: Car Aux & Speaker malfunction for 2010 Camry

i know those aux on those vehicles go out pretty quick, i have personally replaced 3 in the last year alone for camry and corrollas.  I always recommend just replacing the radio, because you are going to get multiple new options as far as bt, aux, usb, cd, am and fm, and hd if you want.  There are a bunch of different options, but usually to get bluetooth, radio, aux, usb and cd you are right around 119.99-129.99.  i know that those factory aux ports are around 100 dollars for just the part alone, so i usually can get my customers to jump up and get wireless connectivity for phone, and music with bt for not to much more.  for your 2010 camry does it have the JBL sound system? i could give you an estimate on the cost of a radio swap, and the cool thing about our warranty is that we will remove the radio for FREE if you trade or sell your vehicle so that you can take that radio we just installed, and re-install it into a new vehicle (regular prices apply for the new vehicle).

as far as the speaker cutting in and out does that only happen when your on aux? or is it on all the different sources, am/fm, cd, aux?

Re: Car Aux & Speaker malfunction for 2010 Camry

sounds like the speaker just needs to be replaced, we can upgrade your front speakers in your vehicle.  installation is 74.99, plus 14.99 for the speaker harness.  did you ever find out if the radio has JBL or not?

Re: Car Aux & Speaker malfunction for 2010 Camry

not that is great actually and will help you save some money. with the jbl sound system the amplifier just needs to be integrated into with the appropriate harness which is 99.99, opposed to the non-jbl sound system harness that is only 19.99.  so you lucked out there, and that vehicle would be easily be completed within a 2 hour time frame.  1 hour for the cd player installation and 1 hour for the front speakers.  here is the breakdown of the charges:

dash kit: 99-8218                      $39.99

Harness: 70-1761                     $19.99

Steering wheel controls: ASWC $89.99

Installation (non video labor)       $64.99

Steering wheel control labor       $59.99

TOTAL:                                    $279.95 BEFORE TAX

W/O steering wheel controls   $129.97 BEFORE TAX

Total with speakers with steering wheel controls        $384.93 BEFORE TAX

Total with speakers withOUT steering wheel controls $234.95 BEFORE TAX

Your speakers will need an adapter to get them to fit properly that are only $29.99.  this is also without any product.  most of the speakers will range anywhere from $50-$100.  and most of the radios will rang at $59.99-199.99 for single din non video units.  if you are looking at a double din radio video screen, those can get up in price usually starting at 299.99.  All of our work that we perfome comes with a life time labor warranty, at any best buy within the nation! let me know if you have any further questions, you do have some parts that need to be ordered so make sure you call your local bby and have them order those parts for you.  you will just pay for them at the store, wait the standard shipping, and then when the parts come into the store, the car installers will be able to perform the work within a time frame of 2 hours that works best for you! best of luck!
