"Ready to pickup" not actually ready when I come...

I made an order {removed per forum guidelines} with store pick up option. When I got confirmation email that order "Ready to pick up", my wife and I drove 32 miles to Best Buy to pick up. And guess what? Best Buy staff was not able to locate our order! Front End Superviser proposed us to ship item to our house which we agreed. But she didn't mentioned that shipping cost will be on us. We drove 32 miles to Best Buy and 32 miles back, spend gas and a lot of time and now we should pay for shipping. It doesn't seem fair to us - it is Best Buy fault that "Ready to pick up" email sent, but item was not available.

I sent email to Front End Superviser about this situation and her response was:

 

I can take a look at that. when I set up the order, it said free shipping. but I will take a look into it for you. how much were you charged?

 

I sent she couple emails after that, but never got a response. So, would you be able to have the shipping cost refunded for my order?

Welcome to our community forums. I use store pickup quite often so I can imagine your surprise to discover that your order wasn't ready to be picked up.
