i bought an oculus quest through affirm

about a week and a half ago i bought an oculus quest using the affirm app, everything seemed fine and then last night i got an update saying my payment authorization failed because best buy tried to charge me 422.94 twice on a card that had a limit of however much the quest was (virtual card that affirm gave me) i called affirm and they told me i had to call best buy and tell them to just process the first hold they put on the card in order to get the money from me instead of still holding the money, and trying to process another transaction. i tried talking to best buy customer service twice and both times they just kept saying the card was getting declined and to try a new one. i really don’t want to have to cancel my order and void the loan affirm gave me but i’m not quite sure what to do next.

I would be wondering about that too if I were you, and I'm sorry to hear about the payment issues that you've faced trying to get this order placed. With these types of issues, since it deals with sensitive payment information, we urge you to call us over the phone at (888) BEST-BUY, or (888) 237-8289, to speak to a representative who can further assist. Likewise, I would also suggest reaching out with Affirm to have them investigate this as once an order is cancelled, all funds are released back to the issuer.
