I pre-ordered an Xperia 1 about a month ago and it got a delayed shipping notice. If you check on the website it appears that you can order it now and receive by next week. However, my order status is STILL showing shipping delay and it will get cancelled by August 15th if it is not shipped by then.
I am wondering why my order has still not shipped if it appears to be that Bestbuy does indeed have stock of this item.

My order has been cancelled as well when I was assured by customer service over the phone that the Xperia 1 would not be cancelled because it was a pre-order item. This is so frustrating because the item appears to be in stock on bestbuy.com and if you were to place a new order you could get it by the next day. Not only that, I could have pre-ordered this item elsewhere and received the item much earlier with the same deal, which was to get this Xperia 1 with the free sony wireless noise-cancellng headphones for free if you pre-ordered.
I still want this item, but at the price point/deal that I was promised at the time I pre-ordered because I had different stores to choose from to pre-order, but I ended up choosing Best Buy. So I am hoping I can recover this order some how

Thanks for reaching out to us here, and welcome to the Best Buy Forums. Obviously, it's not ideal when a pre-order has to be cancelled, and in all situations, we want to do everything we can to make sure they are fulfilled. However, once they are cancelled, we are not able to reinstate the order.
